AGRICULTURAL LOAN

Various type of Credit limits for agriculture purposes viz. ST {SAO} production credit,Medium Term conversion Loan,Fertilizers Cash Credit Limit etc. have been sanctioned to the District Central Cooperative Banks.During the year 2016-17 target of Rs.15000.00crores was fixed for disbursement of agricultural production loans by District Central Cooperative Banks,against which Rs.11941.41 crores were disbursed.

 

ST (SAO) Production Loan

Different  lines  of  production  credit  limit under ST  (SAO)  are  made available  to the DCCBs for financing agriculture purposes viz. credit limit for NMOOP, NFSM- Pulses NPDP,(DTP and other crops (OC).

A. ST Credit Limit for Other Crops

During the year 2016-17, NABARD has sanctioned ST(SAO)credit limit of   Rs. 3857.97  crores for financing crops other than oilseed and pulses. In addition to it Apex Bank has also sanctioned credit limit of Rs. 785.50 crores from its own resources. Total credit limit sanctioned for financing other crops stood as Rs.4643.47  crores..

B.  Shorterm Credit limit for National Mission on oilseeds and oil palm programme(NMOOP)

 During the year 2016-17 under  National Mission on oilseeds and oil palm programme, NABARD has sanctioned credit limit of Rs.2339.19  crores  to the DCCBs. Apart from this Apex Bank also sanctioned credit limit of Rs.643.00  crores from its on resources raising the aggregate credit limit  of Rs. 2982.19 crores.

C.  Shorterm Credit limit for National mission for security for food (NFSM)          

3 DCCBs  were  sanctioned  total  credit  limit  of  Rs.113.12  crores by the NABARD  for the  year 2016-17. Apart from this Apex Bank also sanctioned credit limit of Rs.Nil crores from its on resources raising the aggregate credit limit of Rs. 113.12 crores.

D.   Shorterm Credit limit for Development of Tribal Population  (DTP)

In the year 1995-96, Govt. of  India  has  started  special programme for development of Tribal populace. Under the above programme a credit limit of Rs.658.72 crores was sanctioned by NABARD to 14 Distirict banks for the year 2016-17 and an additional limit of Rs. 330.00 crores was also sanctioned by Apex bank from it own resources there fore the total limit of Rs. 989.72 crores was sanctioned.

Disbursement of loan for Small / Marginal Farmers

During the year 2016-17, an  amount of Rs. 5630.44 crores  was sanctioned  to small and marginal farmers of the State in short term agricultural production loan.

Fertilizers Cash Credit Limit

During the year  2016-17, Fertilizers  cash  credit  limit of Rs. 108.00 crores was sanctioned to 20 DCCBs for the purchase of fertilizer from Marketing Federation and distribution of the same to the farmers through the Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative  Societies.  During the year 2016-17, the farmers were distributed 19.61 lakh Metric Tones of fertilizer through Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies.

Agricultural Loan Disbursement          

During the year 2016-17 target of Rs.15000.00 crores was fixed for disbursement   for agriculture production loan through Primary Agricultural Credit Societies of the State. Kisan Credit Card Yojana

With a view to facilitate  the  member farmers  Credit  card  scheme was introduced in 15 District which is now extended to all over the State through our District Central Co-operative Banks and Primary Agricultural Credit Societies. The year-wise progress in distribution of Kisan credit cards is as under:-

We are the major shareholders in the distribution of Kisan Credit Card of the State.  As on 31.12.2016, out of the total 7703461  KCC distributed of the State, our share is 5312349  which constitute 68.96% of the total.

Short Term Crop Loan at 0% Rate of  Interest.

As per the decision of the State Govt. famers are being provided crop loan up to rupees 3.00 lacs at 0 % rate of interest who are repaying the loan within time from 2012-13. For this interest subvention of 6 % is provided by the State Govt. and 5 % (2+3) by the Central Govt. In the year 2016-17 an amount of rupees 677.92 crores is received from State Govt. and made available to the primary agricultural credit societies of the State.

 

Mukhyamantri Krishak Sahakari Rin Sahayata Yojana

State Govt. had implemented Mukhyamantri Krishak Sahakari Rin Sahayata Yojana from Rabi 2016-17 for farmers of the State who avail short term crop loan from PACS for fertilizer/seed etc. In the scheme per farmer per year subsidy of 10 % of the kind loan amount maximum rupees 10,000/- whichever is less, is being provided. Only those farmers who have repaid their short term loan to the extent of 100% cash and    90% kind within due date will be benefitted under the scheme.
